LUCA BRANDI

Luca Brandi is an Italian abstract artist born in 1961 in Florence, where he still lives. He started to take an interest in painting as early as the age of 9, when he began helping his teacher to paint icons in several churches in Florence. Luca was always surrounded by art, he started drawing comics and rapidly felt the need to express his emotions in painting. At 20, he made his first canvas.

After studying figurative and abstract art, Luca discovered a passion for minimalism,

he believes complexity is not necessary in life, less is more.

He describes himself as a simplifier, with a line you can express the most. The artist gets inspired by a glance, an eye-contact, places, feelings, and the titles of his paintings are most of the time influenced by songs that he loves.

Your tagline fits right here...

Two different lines crossing each other,

evoking the stranger we met on an April afternoon.

In his presence, we had feelings that we had never felt before.

The stranger had touched the innermost parts of our heart.

He had done it by just his words.

And his presence had made us feel as if we were in a spell.
