CBA

CBA aka Yukifumi Shibasaki, is an abstract painter from Japan.

Born in Osaka in 1965, he was raised in Tokyo where he graduated from the Tokyo Design Academy.

He started painting in 2010, after working as a graphic designer for 24 years. CBA works in an abstract manner, with very spontaneous gestures that express his emotions.

Spontaneity is a meticulously prepared art.

The creative person needs freedom and space, vast space; he needs the whole sky and all the stars.

Only then can his innermost spontaneity start growing.
