Giordan Rubio is a young and fast-growing talent from France who has exhibited his work in Switzerland, Germany, France and in the USA. Drawing inspiration from legends such as Warhol, Haring, Basquiat and Rothko, as well as from words and language sources, he composes works that combine tastes of nostalgia with firmly contemporary expressions. He merges semi-figurative forms with vibrant colours and a percussive spirit, achieving an aesthetic marked by strength, irony, and social comments. Giordan partnered with several luxury fashion brands for special limited editions, and realized covers for super cars.
Words are singularly the most powerful force available to humanity. We can choose to use this force constructively with words of encouragement, or destructively using words of despair. Words have energy and power with the ability to harm, to help, to heal or to inspire.
